Most people think our jobs are workflow design, or post-production media management, or editorial support. But actually, our jobs are just beach.
From May 1–3, CMSI supported production operations during one of collegiate athletics’ premier beach volleyball events: The NCAA Women’s Beach Volleyball Championship at Gulf Place Public Beach.
Held annually in Gulf Shores, the NCAA Women’s Beach Volleyball Championships bring together top programs from across the country for several days of live competition, national coverage, and fast-paced event production. The beachfront setting creates a unique broadcast environment, requiring production teams to operate efficiently in an outdoor venue while maintaining the quality and reliability expected of major live sports coverage.
CMSI supported the event as part of its ongoing work across collegiate and live sports productions. Throughout the championship, CMSI worked alongside broadcast and production teams to help support the workflows and technical operations required to keep coverage moving smoothly.
The event continued CMSI’s long-standing involvement in live sports production environments, where reliable workflows, adaptable infrastructure, and experienced technical support remain essential to successful broadcasts.
As live sports productions continue to evolve across both traditional broadcast and digital platforms, CMSI remains focused on supporting the systems and workflows that help production teams deliver content efficiently in high-pressure environments.
